“To be or not to be”, is an artwork inspired by the past that’s been influence for an evocative sculpture, carved from pristine white Carrara marble, it further embodies the complex essence of existence.
This artwork captivates viewers through its poignant representation of a human skull veiled delicately yet distinctly covering the mouth and jaw.
This deliberate artistic choice introduces a raw, masked gateway to the soul's vocal expressions, symbolising the inherent challenges and vulnerabilities of coming into existence.
The choice of white marble not only emphasises the purity and the start of life's complexities but also enhances the sculpture's lifelike appearance, making the veil over the skull seem almost translucent and
ethereal.
Even the worst sins must be treated with grace and respect.
The decadent skull is contrasted by the pristine veil, which highlights the contrast of a world in opulence and war, in belief and paranoia.
The only issue that causes human pain is the trouble of being born as a defective and dangerous animal capable of digging its own grave through weak, viced actions.
Mankind is the architect of his own destiny.

Similarly, "To Be or Not to Be" is a black marble sculpture presenting a veiled human skull, draping from the mouth to the back of the head.
Covering the artwork represents the silence of non-existence or death's solitude. There's mystery within the content.
Just the hint of an outline of what's hidden underneath. The black marble signifies the end, emphasising the veil's details through shadow play.
The veil is used again to whitewash our own architecture of wrong actions, reconstructing dignity after death.
The sculpture was made during the time of the pandemic and subsequent wars, in a moment of lack of freedom and excess of control placed on mankind.
The sculpture's title, borrowed from Shakespeare's Hamlet, deepens its exploration of existential dilemmas, embodying the profound uncertainty and introspection associated with the question of existence.
